Tom retired from KPMG Peat Marwick in 1998 where he served as partner in charge of KPMG’s southeast area health care practice. He was also a member of the firm’s national health care leadership team and southeast area operating and leadership committees from 1993 through 1998. During his 32 years with KPMG, he served in numerous leadership positions while providing a variety of consulting and assurance services to multi-hospital systems, hospitals, and other related health care entities throughout the Midwest and southeast.
Born in Chicago, Tom received his undergraduate business degree from John Carroll University and an MBA from Ohio University. He is a CPA in Illinois, Ohio and Florida. Tom has served two three-year board terms as treasurer and recently completed his second board term as president of Wyndemere Country Club. Tom is on the board of NCH Healthcare System and currently serves as chairman of the Audit Committee, co-chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and member of the Finance and Investment Committee. Tom serves on the Finance Committee at Avow Hospice.
